It's a small tiny turtle, you can add a chain and use it as a key chain, or create a few in different colors and make a hanging decoration.
You will need:
Cotton yarn dark green color
Cotton yarn light green color
Cotton yarn white color
Cotton yarn black color - for eyes
Cotton yarn red color - for mouth
Crochet hook 3.5mm
Pipe cleaner / iron wire for the head
Needle
Fiberfill
Stitch guide:
Chain (ch): Yarn over and pull through loop.
Single crochet (sc): Insert hook in stitch. Yarn over and pull up a loop. Yarn over and draw through 2 loops.
Slip stitch (slst): Insert hook in stitch yarn over and pull through 2 loops.
Single crochet increase (inc): 2 single crochet in the same stitch follow the instructions.
Single crochet decrease (dec): insert hook in front loop of the next 2 stitches. Yarn over draw through 2 loops.
Notes:
This pattern is worked in a continuous spiral without closing off each round. Please mark the first stitch of each round and move the marker up as you work.

With light green color
Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc across (12)
Rnd 3: (sc in next 1 stitches, inc) repeat 6 times (18)
Rnd 4-5: 18 sc (1)
Rnd 6: (sc in next 1 stitches, dec) repeat 6 times (12)
Rnd 7: (sc in the next 2 stitches, dec) repeat 3 times (9)
Rnd 8-15: 9 sc, 8 rounds (9)
Insert pipe cleaner to the turtle head and body
Rnd 16: dec 4 time, slst.
Fasten off and fiberfill.
Embroider the eyes and the mouth.
Shell:
With dark green color
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (MR)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc across (12)
Rnd 3: (sc in next stitch, inc) repeat 6 times (18)
Rnd 4: (sc in next 2 stitches, inc) repeat 6 times (24)
Rnd 5-6: 24 sc (24)
Fasten off and fiberfill leaving yarn for sewing.
Shell Cover:
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (MR)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc across (12)
Rnd 3: (sc in next stitch, inc) repeat 6 times (18)
Rnd 4: (sc in next 2 stitches, inc) repeat 6 times (24)
Fasten off leaving yarn for sewing.
Assemble the turtle:
1. Fill the shell with fiberfill
2. Lay the body of the turtle between the shell cover and the shell, leaving a little tail
3. Sew the shell cover to the shell

Rnd 5-6: 18 sc (24) I don't understand. So is it 18 single crochets or is it 24 single crochets. Is there a decrease that has been left out of the pattern?
